More About Susan
Susan's mission in the arts is to sing, act, and embody characters to deeply connect with audiences through joy, pathos and living the human experience onstage to the fullest.
She strongly believes that the arts and artists have the power to influence culture, promote movements for change and equality, and contribute to everyone's overall happiness and well-being.
One of her latest endeavors is the creation of an audiobook and e-book of poetry titled "The Wild Edge of the Heart: Women Poets Raise Their Voices," which features twelve award-winning women poets narrated by Ms. Lambert, with a foreword by the renowned director and acting method pioneer Anne Bogart. All proceeds from this project will be donated to the NIRH to support reproductive health for girls and women.
She has enjoyed songwriting and singing acapella in her career as an artist as well as creating and performing solo shows of many kinds around the world.
Susan grew up in a family of teachers and throughout her career as a performing artist has taught voice, workshops, and college courses, believing that learning is our most powerful force; along with love and curiosity!
Susan has embarked on memoir writing most recently and is excited to see where that journey takes her and her readers.
